1. About the business and the scope of the law
Lid Jarnindustri AS is a manufacturer of tractor-mounted equipment for use in the agricultural, forestry and construction markets. The company is covered by the Norwegian Transparency Act and works systematically to respect fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in its own operations and in the supply chain.

This report has been prepared in accordance with Section 5 of the Transparency Act and is published annually.

2. Anchoring accountability
Responsibility for the work with the Transparency Act is anchored in the company's management. Internal routines for due diligence assessments have been established, and relevant functions in the business contribute to the work. The work is reported to management, which has the overall responsibility for follow-up and prioritization of measures.

3. Mapping and assessing risk
Lid Jarnindustri AS has conducted a comprehensive assessment of the supply chain and selected business partners. The assessment takes into account, among other things, the type of goods and services supplied, the supplier's geographical location, as well as industry risk and known risk factors.

4. Actual and potential negative consequences
Based on the survey, the company assesses both actual and potential negative consequences related to working conditions, health, environment and safety, as well as pay and working conditions.

5. Measures and follow-up
Where risks are identified, assess Lid Jarnindustri AS appropriate measures to prevent or limit negative impacts. Measures may include obtaining information or self-declarations from suppliers, dialogue when improvements are needed, and assessment of further follow-up.

6. Results and further work
The work on the Transparency Act is an ongoing process. The company is continuously working to improve its own routines and reduce risk in the supply chain.
